Perranporth, although once a thriving mining community, is now a popular holiday destination. The 3 mile sandy stretch of beach surrounded by dunes is popular with families and surfers. Passing through old tin mine country leading to the village of St Agnes you will see the original miners cottages. Trevaunance Cove, once a busy harbour is a popular filming location,scenes for the famous Poldark series were filmed on location here.
