An ancient wool town, with 800 years of history, lying at the foot of the Haldon Hills and at the gateway to the Teign Valley. Narrow lanes and passageways lined with quaint old cottages are a feature of the town, which boasts a good network of footpaths. In Chudleigh itself, there's an activity centre, whilst historic Ugbrooke House is just a few miles away.
