A picturesque village best known for overlooking the fairy tale St. Michael’s Mount. The island and castle are managed by the National Trust, but members of the St Levan family still live there. Marazion has an excellent safe sandy beach, ideal for sailing and windsurfing, there is easy access from an adjoining car park. The island is reached via a causeway at low tide, and by a gentle boat ride at high tide. The village has a variety of small shops, galleries, pubs and eating places.
