Lansallos Cove , Cornwall |
Accessed by a rock cut track, Lansallos is an attractive semi circular south facing cove of coarse sand, quartz-rich shingle and rocks with a backdrop of dramatic cliffs. Lansallos is also known as West Combe Beach and is midway between Polruan and Polperro The tumbling ‘Reed Water’ waterfall to the left of the beach was the site of an old water mill, but little or no trace of the building remains now. The unmade track to the cove is possible, but not easy for pushchairs.
Facilities: Parking – NT car park north of Lansallos Church, Toilets.
