Mawgan Porth is a large west facing cove nestling between two steep headlands, Berryl’s Point and Trenance Point, where the river meets the sea. This golden sandy beach is popular with families. On the southern headland is another tiny sandy beach ‘Beacon Cove’, sheltered on either side by steep cliffs and can be reached (no facilities) by a rough steep track .
