Godrevy is one of the outstanding beauty spots in South West Cornwall, wild rugged and inspirational on stormy days, yet peaceful and idyllic on calm sunny ones. Godrevy has a fine sand and rock beach, adjacent to Godrevy lighthouse, with marvellous surfing conditions. The beach which is north west facing is perfectly safe if you listen to advice and keep away from the stretch of water between the island and the mainland, because of the strong tides there.
