Cornwall’s most famous surfing mecca, regularly challenging top board-artists, when national and international surf and surf-lifesaving competitions take place. The beach is flanked by Towan and Pentire healands. Fistral Beach is west facing with fine golden sand, rock pools and dunes; it looks the Atlantic directly in the eye. The beach is also popular for swimming, sea canoeing, windsurfing and fishing.
