Broadclyst, Devon

Situated in the heart of the National Trust Killerton estate, Broadclyst can boast of beautiful countryside and woodlands scattered with thatched cottages, steeped in local history. The National Trust owned medieval Markers Cottage lies in the village, with Clyston Mill, a nineteenth century watermill also being nearby.

The centre of the village is dominated by a very pretty village green displaying some fine examples of mature trees, thatched bus shelter, and dominated by the medieval church.

Only five miles from Exeter city centre Broadclyst manages to remain distant from the city, yet close enough to be handy for the large shops and other services.
