Just SE of Land’s End, this cove has the most wonderful white sand beach formed from ground sea shells. Pedn-Vounder Beach and Logan Rock are just to the East. The world famous cliff top Minack open air theatre is situated here and is a stunning place to watch a play with the setting sun as a backdrop. The Museum of Submarine Telegraphy is also based here as Porthcurno was the main gateway for telegraph cables linking Britain to the rest of the world.
