Crantock, Cornwall

Situated across the River Gannel from Newquay lies Crantock, a quiet, pretty village with picturesque thatched cottages hidden from the sea by large sand dunes. In the centre of the village is the Round Garden (NT), which is in fact an orchard where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Further on from the main village towards West Pentire (NT) lies the large sandy beach, with an accessible car park close by.
