Ashcombe lies close to the 365 square miles of natural beauty within the Dartmoor National Park. Here there are numerous attractions to visit such as the Becky Falls Woodland Park, River Dart Adventures which is situated within 90 acres of what used to be a Victorian Country Estate, the Buckfast Butterflies and Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary, Cardew Tea Pottery where you can watch skilled pottery workers handcraft their world famous tea pots and the Morwellham Quay which is a museum and visitor centre based around the historic port of Tamar Valley.
Ashcombe is situated near to some of Devon's most charming towns. Newton Abbot is a bustling market town with various open, indoor and farmers' markets and the famous racecourse has steeplechase horseracing throughout the year. Teignmouth is a top holiday resort and is situated between stunning red sandstone cliffs with sandy beaches that stretch the length of the promenade. Dawlish - Part Victorian and part Georgian, this seaside town has special charm and character. You'll find colourful flower beds, tall palms, and a stream that cascades to the sea. It is also the home of the famous black swans.
