New Coach Restrictions in 2007
From 2007 there will be new restrictions regarding the hours a coach driver is able to work.
Geoff Rumbles who is the director of Truronian Coaches– Our local coach company may be able to assist with overcoming the new coach law of 6 days of work and 24 hours of rest. Truronian currently take Cornish coaches to Norway, Holland and Germany – therefore are very aware of the issues this new law will bring on 2007.
He has offered the following services:
- A driver for the Day on your coach (he would need to have them trained up for this – depending on the demand)
- A driver with a coach for the day – prices starting from £350 depending on distance etc.
- Day trips out with local services e.g. The T11 service which is a bus from Newquay, St Austell and Falmouth to the Eden project. Tickets can be brought on the day and include fast track entry on arrival to the Eden Project. See http://www.truronian.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=318
