The Lizard – wild peninsular, Lizard Point marks the most southerly place in England which is famous for it's serpentine stone. Hidden bays like Kynance Cove or Polurrian Beach as well as pretty fishing villages such as Coverack or Mullion.
The cliffs of the Lizard appear in many Rosamunde Pilcher films. The coast at Mullion was used in 2005 for filming “Amazing Grace”. It also features in “A Secret to Tell”. One of the key scenes of “Another View” is when a storm brews up and the actors try to shelter in a fishing cottage. The love scene of “Toby” were made here in the boat house at Mullion Cove as was the scene in “Carousel” where the horses go past.
