The train station of St Erth was used in many films for the arrival and departure scenes. The coast around Hayle is spectacular and filming has often taken place here. “Magic Night” used Hayle Towans Beach. The route between Gwithian Towans to Godrevy Point can be seen in “Amazing Grace” and “Above the Clouds”. During the1990's filming took place for “Cliffs of Love” and “Doves in the Wind”. Wonderful vistas to St Ives Bay contribute to the attraction. Virginia Wolfe also modelled her novel “At the Lighthouse” on Godrevy lighthouse.
